Wow, such a DGD! He will be sorely missed! His record surely speaks for itself!

I got to meet Coach Jack once when UGA sponsored a high school meet at the Ramsey Center and my daughter was able to compete in the diving competition there. Such a wonderful man of character! Thanks, Mike, for a great homage to a great Coach!

Thanks again, Coach Bauerle, and good luck in all your future endeavors!

I predated Jack Bauerle as a therapist at UGA beginning in 1975. One of the most consistent problem issues among UGA athletes from 1975 until 1979 was the unhappiness among the swimming and diving teams. Since Jack's arrival, I can honestly say that not only did the success of the programs skyrocket, the contentment of those previously put upon athletes followed the same path. I have never had a direct conversation with Jack. I can however attest to the genuineness of the man and his positive impact on UGA. We are indeed blessed to have had him here.
