New Predator movie on Hulu is pretty good
Just watched "Prey" yesterday and I thought it was pretty good. Definitely worth watching. Better than the last couple of releases. My only dislike is that the main character (the girl) didn't seem believable as a warrior. But that is nit-picking. It's a cool movie if you like the Predator series.

PG - I forgot. Who won the championship move between Alien and Predator. I watched it but for the life of me can 't recall the victor.
Yeah, me neither. It was that memorable.
Definitely the best in a while. I was wondering how they would have her get around the obvious physical and weapon disadvantages to win but I think they did a get job with how they had her outsmart it for the most part.
They also cracked the code on predator movies. Just remake that same stuff in different time periods.
I agree, but I thought they should have cast a tougher, more athletic looking female for the role. I thought she was just too clean and sweet looking to be fighting a Predator. But then it boiled down to brains over brawn.
I was debating whether to watch it or not...good to see a positive review.
I 86'd it after 57 minutes. Way too woke for me. That said, it must have been filmed in 4K, because the resolution on my OLED tv was incredible.
You have angered the DV Gods...you must repent by saying three Hail Kirbys, rewatch the 2021 NC game once, and slap a Gator (just for fun.) Go forth and sin no more my son.
Pg is conservative and enjoyed it. I think you're just a lil snowflake
Yeah that's hollywood for you though. all the leads have to be stereotypically sexy
that was my only chance. I can't act a lick.
Just curious, what did you find woke about it? I didn't pick up on anything like that. My only issue with the movie was a mis-casting of the lead character. I thought she should have been a bit tougher, and not so 90210 looking. Would have lent a lot of credibility if she didn't appear so dainty and pretty with perfect hair all the time. All the actors were actually Native American, and the guy who played the brother said he wanted to break the stereotype of the typical Native American movie character. That came through in his kind of regular guy dialogue.
Yeah, that girl that played Lara Croft in the newest "tomb raider", Alicia Vikander, would be perfect, @pgjackson !!
Actually haven't seen the new Predator movie yet, plan to, but from the way you are talking about a "tougher, and not so 90210 looking" lead character, AK would be perfect!
If you haven't seen 2018's Tomb Raider, I recommend it highly!
I just finished typing out a long explanation and then decided to deleted it. This is not the forum to go down that path.
But hey... on the positive side - for those of you who are searching for 4K material to marvel at your OLED tv, HBO Max has just released a 4K version of GOT.
