Really tired of talking about this. Just make a decision and rip it off like a band aid.

It really comes down to whether UGA administration will give the coach, they just gave $100 M to, what he wants. We will see who wields the power w/in the athletic dept at UGA. Will politics win this battle or will CKS get to host recruits for the top game on his home schedule?

The $$$ Jax pays UGA every year probably doesn't exceed the $$$ that will be spent in Athens every other year. Money that will benefit the city of Athens and the State of GA.

The fact that CKS is making this much noise over this issue tells me that he feels his hand is pretty strong. I hope CKS "wins" on this and the UGA/FU game is in Athens every other year.

"Turning Point"...LOL...They've been discussing this move for decades. The final decision has gone right up to the bitter end on at least 2 occasions, that I recall. You've got half the parties of interest pulling the steering wheel in one direction, and the other half, pulling in the other direction...as usual.

The biggest difference this time, is the emergence of NIL/TP recruiting and Smart has the complete support of the AD and University President. Not to mention a greater majority of Fans and Alumni are on-board than any other time I can remember.

I think NIL/TP tipped the scales and is the actual "turning point". Every little advantage counts ten fold now and you can't afford to lose ground, cause it may be harder than ever, to gain it back.

I wouldn't, exactly, call the Smart-Tebow interview, a toe-to-toe show-down. LOL Tebow, an affable sort, brought it up in a humorously confrontational manner and gave Smart the chance to make the same case, he and Mark Richt have made publicly, numerous times, over the last 20+ yrs. That little interview didn't move the needle one iota, IMO.

I agree with you. I believe the die has been cast. It's gonna happen, so, go ahead and let er rip.....Unless...UGA may want to wait until AFTER the 2022 game, to make their decision known, for obvious reasons.

Coach knows what it takes to stay a winner . Pull the curtain back and you’ll see the wizard is Florida . The time has come .

I’ve Never liked the game being in Jax. And I’ve Always viewed it as much more beneficial to UF, the City of Jax, and the State of Florida. That’s because it Is more beneficial to those three than UGA, the City of Athens, and the State of Georgia. I applaud Kirby’s efforts ( and Mark Richt’s before him) and sure hope that Kirby is successful in getting the game pulled out of Jax. In my humble opinion it ought to be like the rest of our SEC rivals. One year at Their place the next year at ours or vice versa. Yes I understand that many long standing traditions have been created including the Road Trip down there and the Tailgating while there. I get it. But New traditions Can be established to. At one time long ago those traditions were “ New”. Playing the game in Jax does hinder Kirby’s recruiting efforts to some extent, and as already pointed out by others beside me it hurts ( certainly doesn’t help) the economy for the City of Athens and the State of Ga. while giving an Obvious economic benefit to the City of Jax and the State of Florida. Long past time to pull the plug on it in my opinion. Go Dawgs !!

"It is possible there could be three-city rotation if or when the league schedule expands."

NO to this. Maybe Jax and Athens alternate. Three game rotation still gives UF a 2 out of 3 advantage. NO, NO, and ummm NO!!

If UF loves Jax so much, let this be their "home" game, still 50 -50 for fans. Watch them back off this because they know how UGA gets fired up to kick their butt on Fla turf.

I agree 2 of 3 in FL still advantage FU. I really don't like the idea of FU playing in ATL either. The less exposure they get in GA the better. Let them come to Athens in front of 90,000 fanatics. Any recruit that comes to Athens to see FU and sees that will be rethinking FU.

Home and home or possibly?...one year in jacksonville and the next in ATL? Still doesn't solve Smart's recruiting issue I guess, so I also guess home and home it will be. Shame because the 50/50 split in fans is very cool.

We will lose some valuable Florida exposure though, as the trade off, for gaining valuable recruiting opportunity every other year...

But I must trust Kirby, on whether those on-campus and gameday visits, every other year, are worth more than the FL exposure.
