I have been saying for some time this team has the potential to be better than last years team. Much will depend on how well the new ones on defense adjust and develop. There are some athletes there, but need to develop the game speed and gel as a team. Offense should (and appeared) be much improved.

I, kind of, agree with your observation on Edwards, but, this is the thing I see....all 5 backs, that played Saturday, did some good things. Including Clark, BTW.

It seems to me, that each skill player on UGA's offense, brings a little something different to the table. Monkin, in all his genius, has found a way to get the right combination on the field, to run multiple options with the right skill player in place to execute. McIntosh has taken on the role that James Cook was responsible for in 2020 & 2021. Edwards, Milton and Robinson are the thunder to McIntosh's lightning. I believe that Clark is all-purpose and efficient, while Paul would've been a Cook/McIntosh type contributor.

The odd thing in this group, is that Robinson is possibly a cross-over back. Meaning, he can catch, run for power, but with some twitch and block. He could be one of their best weapons by mid-season. The way UGA deploys their RBs these days...it's hard to say whether Robinson will get enough playing time to know for sure, before mid-season. In any case, I believe we can expect great things from him in the next 3 yrs.
