Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Kirby Smart: ‘No relief’ for Georgia football, glaring mistakes made in 49-3 win over Oregon
ATHENS — Kirby Smart spent the offseason making sure his program stayed on edge, insistent on guarding against any notion of complacency.

Love the fact that Kirby is never satisfied...keeps pushing...there is always room for improvement...but, I say you've got to instill the discipline but also let and encourage the players to just have fun playing the game. The joy of the game of football for the players shined through on Saturday. I'd like to see that every week even if we're having to play from behind.
The defense didn't give up any big plays Saturday, but they did give up yards. That worked against the Ducks, but we'll probably need to tighten things up as we go forward.
It's hard to look in the mirror and admit mistakes - especially when the end result is the pounding Georgia gave Oregon Saturday. I remember last year's veteran defensive players calling themselves out when they knew they played sub-standard even though they were a part of a historically great defense. Self-checking is important and crucial to getting better. These dawgs understand that and even embrace that. That's taught by this great coaching staff that is never satisfied with just being "good". It is great to be a Georgia Bulldog! GO DAWGS!
It's "interesting" for a Tuesday afternoon QB like me to criticize the Dawgs, but the front seven did seem slower than last years and there were some missed tackles. That said, they did keep Oregon out of the end zone. o, yeah. And, ya gotta love Kirby diluting the rat poison.
