Georgia football players make plea to have another night game in Sanford Stadium
Georgia football players are hopeful to get a home night game this season.

Alabama-Texas A&M likely being the night game for CBS on Oct. 8.
With Georgia ranked higher than Bama and UT also ranked higher than A&M, if these rankings stay in that order, wouldn't CBS opt for the higher ranked matchup?
Dawgs and Vols under the Georgia Red-Hell lights in Sanford Stadium. That would be good.
Unfortunately for the dawgs. The rankings are only part of it. Alabama and Texas AM have huge viewing numbers when it comes to ratings not rankings
Logically yes. But the Offseason Saban/Dumbo war of words trumps the rankings. Everyone will want to see the look on Jimbo's face when Saban exacts his revenge and runs the score up on aTm. The networks know this. Bigger story nationally than an SECE game regardless of rankings.
"It was just a crazy atmosphere. And it was a good game," Washington said. "I feel like watching that game I was like, 'Dang,I could see myself out on that field, in that uniform, doing what these dudes are doing playing for this team and under this head coach.' I was 'Why not the G?'
After the reveal of the very underwhelming UGA home schedule for '23 just another reason to bring the UGA/FU game back to Athens.
Yea the Tennessee game is prob gonna be at noon lmao. After all the media has a love affair with Nick Saban potentially loosing to his coordinators. God knows Gary Danielson could spew on mindlessly about that for hours.
We got a better chance of getting Bama vs Collins Hill high school into a prime time slot than an SEC East matchup between likely top ten and number one ranked teams to determine the outcome of the SEC East. It’s shameful the time slots our dogs get with all that they’ve accomplished/continue to accomplish.
Light it up!! I would love to see another night game like the Notre Dame game Sanford all lit up. What an adrenal rush that was between the 3rd and 4th quarters. Maybe we could pay off the 2023 Ball St. game and bring in Michigan (they would have to pay off UNLV on the same day). We would have to get them to play at Sanford and play a future at Ann Arbor. If not, then maybe Ohio St. Just dreaming here.😎
There is no conspiracy here. Certainly, Kent State nor Samford were going to be 7pm Prime-time games. Could the away game @ Carolina been one? Maybe, but that wouldn't have helped Georgia fans and it didn't exactly become a close game. Missouri was selected as a 7:30pm, so it was just the way it went with Home and Home. Will Auburn be one? Probably as will much of the future games.
And yes, despite what people say, Alabama plays Noon games every year. Heck, the Texas game was a Noon game and it wound up being a close game.
A 3:30 start for Auburn wouldn't be awful. It will be getting dark by the end of the 3rd quarter and they will be able to rock the light show then. As long as it is not a noon start...
80s kid, here. I have no problems with day games. They were ALL day games, before lights installed. If you're from out of town, night games ****. You can't leave the stadium until midnight and you might be in traffic, for 30 minutes, before you can actually start your trip home. Day games rock, for the geezers, like me.
