I tried to post this comment on the MJ Sherman story, but I ran into a snag that wouldn't allow it to post. I'm new at this so it may have been an operator error.

It's so interesting to hear the personal stories of the players that we watch each week. I remember following the recruitment process and eventual signing of MJ Sherman. Just like so many other UGA players, we get glimpses of him on the sideline during his Freshman year, then we start seeing more of him gradually on special teams and then playing on defense in different schemes late in the games. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he emerged as a force to be reckoned with as a starter in his Senior season. He's been in this system for a couple of years quietly learning, and gaining the experience necessary to become an even bigger contributor to the best defense in the nation. Athletes in this age-range can develop tremendously in just a year's time, and we could very well see that from MJ Sherman. We may even see it start to happen for Sherman in the later part of this season! The Senior season is so important for these players because in most cases it is their most productive year. Go Dawgs!
