Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Malaki Starks, Jalen Carter key Georgia football defensive growth at the most important time
ATHENS — Most freshmen would be overwhelmed taking on the No. 1 scoring offense in the country in a game between top-ranked teams. Playing safety as the last line of defense against the most explosive offense in college football is certainly a tricky task, even for the most experienced of players.

RESPECT THE DAWGS!! These guys have earned it! NO dropoff since last year and the media finally gets it! These Dawgs hunt!! GO DAWGS!
Glad to see Malaki's getting this recognition. With Keelee snagging that interception and Bullard getting those two sacks, I thought Malaki might be overlooked. It'll be pretty cool if we get our second-straight national freshman of the year.
Depth is so important when getting to this point in the season. And not just bodies, guys who have enough talent to step into key roles. Starks deserves the accolades. Impressive freshman for sure!!
What impressed me on Saturday with the defense was the tackling. The tackling was fantastic. I can't even remember seeing a miss, but I feel sure we had a few.
