On the season, Thorson has punted only 22 times. Georgia ranks second in the SEC in fewest punts, with only Tennessee having less with 21.How many times did Tennessee punt vs how many times did Georgia punt?
The punt stats for the season are not anywhere near as relevant, in this article, as the game stats.
Not saying the season stats shouldn't have been mentioned.

Don't know the final tally, but UT punted 3 times alone in the 1st quarter. Announcers stated UT had punted only 3 times combined in the 1st quarter in their previous games.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Thorson actually punted once against Oregon, very late in the game. It kind of stands out because I thought much was made about his parents coming over from Australia and they almost didn't get a chance to see him in the game. Again, if I'm wrong, please advise. Go Dawgs!
According to the ESPN Game Log UGA Brett Thorson and TENN Paston Brooks, each had four Punts in the UGA Vs TENN game, but Tennessee also turned the ball over on downs twice, going for it on fourth downs instead of punting, and yes Brett Thorson had only one punt in the Oregon game.
