Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Tua was not Riley’s. Jalen and TUA are like two sides of the same coin. Neither did it by themselves. Jalen has a chance this year, but I think that is more a reflection of Jalen’s persistence than Rileys influence three years later.
Probably not but we dont need him to get us to the 2007 Sugar Bowl.
We need him to keep making plays in this offense that he understands very very well. Two more times and it's back to back titles. We get that he has more than done what is asked of him.
Bryce young and Alabama had the most talented team on paper going in to the year. They were suppose to run a way with it after “rebuilding” last year. Would you say Bryce underperformed and is not as good as advertised? Maybe he’s regressed. He lost twice with all of that talent. How could he?
Easy answer. This is why they play the games.
But no way is Alabama near the dominant program they were when they won back to back with McCarron. Not even close.
Very true. He has the players around him to succeed
Sorry. My brain malfunctioned on Tua.
You sure about that? Stet is better in pretty much every measurable statistical category. Staff in 2007 was not great. 2500 yards, 55% completions, 19 TDs, 10 INTs.
He has already passed Stafford on the all-time UGA career passing yardage list!
Staff in 13 games 2007 - 2523 yards, 55% comp, 19 TD, 10 INTs. 2 rushing TDs.
Stet in 13 games in 2022 - 3425 yards, 68% comp, 20 TDs, 6 INTs. 7 rushing TDs.
compare the rosters
That doesn't matter at all. Nobody ever compares players based on his teammates.
Yes it does
Well, almost nobody.
You are desperately trying to cling to a failed narrative. 2007 was an outstanding team. Finished #2 in the nation. Many people thought it was the best team in the nation at the end. There was nothing lacking on that roster.
Lol
