If I were Milton I would come back for 1 more year and just enjpy being young before heading out ino the real world. Get your education, develop strong bonds with friends and then if per chance you get a shot in the League maybe you at least get a decent signing bonus. Invest it and you'll be set!

I agree with UGADad20, I think he's too slow and his feet don't change direction fast enough. The NFL is just a different place. You've got to have more than just size. But if he could have break out year next year, some team would probably draft him in the later rounds. Attrition in the League is a real deal.

@UGADad20 I agree with most of what you said, but the guy who "easily" caught Kendall from behind weighs nearly 35 pounds less. That's also the same guy (Burns) who was rolled down in the box and was blown by so fast it looked like me out there. A back Kendall's size doesn't need top-end speed. Of course it helps, but I'd be willing to bet his 10 + 20 times are well above average. If he's going to be a bruiser, though, he'd better be durable...which he hasn't proven to be (to your point).

Not sure that I exactly said Milton was "too slow". But he does look slower this year than years past. Yes he was caught by a smaller faster DB but there were other players (DB's? LB's?) catching him too. At 6'2" 220 lbs (as listed) he is a pretty average sized NFL RB. If he is 4.6 or better he can play in the NFL. Slower than that? Maybe.

He will do his due diligence and have his NFL evaluation results to help his decision. He should come back based on how much time he missed and how he wasn't able to show out.

UGA needs another back (or 2). Milton, Paul, both Robinson's are all the same style RB. They really need a Justice Haynes type RB. Haynes feels like a flip. And I have a source that says he will flip. Running out of time.

TP RB is a possibility. Remember when CKS passed on Alvin Kamara to go for the Parkview guy (Chris Carson) that ended up at OK St?

If Milton leaves for the draft now, I don't think(but who cares what I think) that he would be drafted in the top 4 rounds. IMHO that's where he needs to try to get to to make it worth coming out. If he did come back for another season at UGA could he have a "break out year"? And if were to, he could probably move up to perhaps a round 3-4 guy? Much better signing bonus.

THe question is, does he even believe he's got more in the tank and that by coming back he would even garner more carries? DOes he believe that the coaches believe he's the odds on favorite to start? And as others have said, could he stay healthy? That seems to be an issue.

THe smart thing to do , if you believe the coaches are high on you being the guy,(or top 2 at least) and you believe you have more to show, is to come back. If you believe it would be a waste of time and energy because you performed at your highest level and other backs were just better than you, then you move on and take your chances in the draft.

Ya know, Red...I've been thinking lately about possibilities where attrition is concerned.

If you think about it, it would be extremely enticing for some of UGA's draft eligible upperclassmen (with NCAA eligibility remaining) , to come back and attempt to three-peat as National Champions. Provided they win this year's CFP.

That would be historic...especially in the CFP Era. A time when you have to play 2 or 3 extra games, depending on the Conference, to make it happen.

3 Natty's in a row would stand the test of time, and set a bar that may never be reached again in this new Era of NIL/TP and Expanded 12-team CFP. IMO
