Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

    THE biggest problem,, for Ole St.. Nick,, is convincing recruits, that He's gonna be back...not just next year. It's not an issue to all of em, but, I guarantee you, it's a factor.

    I remember when The Bear was getting up in age (late '70's). There were rumors that he didn't really coach anymore and he sat up in a tower with a bull horn. There were other rumblings. I know for a fact it affected some decisions at the time.

    I'm not saying he IS or ISN'T going anywhere. But, perception is 9/10ths of reality. Kids will need to be convinced more now, than they were 5 yrs ago. Because of what's coming out of their own fanbase.

    Tide Nation is...Calling for a HC in-waiting...calling for the heads of both coordinators...calling for a program shake-up...questioning coaching decisions. Sounds like the preface to Bear Bryant's retirement.
