    Yes, successful coordinators do eventually leave. I already feel for the OC that replaces Monken. He is going to be a tough act to follow being so universally respected and liked by so many in DN.

    Stet's attitude is impactful. He talks like a true leader and he leads by example. The dawgs will put in the work and they will best tOHS by 14. GO DAWGS!

    BEAT them on the field...

    Generally, I ignore the small gaffs, but that one definitely needs correction.

    Nice to see that the other finalists admire Bennett's moxie and appreciate his journey. I certainly do.

    I’d rather have Stetson leading our Dawgs to Another Ntl. Title than any of the other three. With all due respect to them. Being voted fourth just made Stetson all the hungrier. When the Dawgs play against very good to great competition it just brings something out in Stetson. An IT factor that seems to show up much more in those type games than the more I guess you could say routine games. Over and Over and Over again he’s proven his naysayers and haters Wrong !! And Some hate him all the more for it. This kid has an unquenchable Fire in his belly rarely seen. The more he’s told he Can’t do something or he’s not Good Enough, the more he seems to just Win. YES, YES, YES and More Yes, his Team have been utterly Instrumental to his success. But you just don’t achieve the records he has by accident, And even with the Yes huge contributions from teammates HE has made Huge Contributions to Them as well. Like some posters have said it goes all the way back to that game vs Arkansas, I’m Convinced Dawgs would’ve lost that game if not for the Confidence, Calm, and Heroics he come in off the bench and brought. Dawgs were in a definite downward spiral in that game and he turned it completely around. Stetson has EARNED the respect of Dawgs Nation !! And he did it against Tons of adversity from within and without the program. He will indeed go down in UGA history as one of the Greatest !! Go Dawgs !! Go Stetson !!

    Fate...or, God, has a hand in all our lives, whether we embrace it or, not. And, God definitely had his hand on Stetson Bennett. If not for the 2020 shoulder injury against FLA...He probably goes on to crush the Gators, doesn't get benched and eventually suffers a humiliating loss...because he wasn't "ready" for prime time.

    That single move to the bench, gave him the perspective he needed, to succeed on the field. He put his nose to the grindstone and went to work, knowing what it would take to perform at "the highest level". Improving his Football IQ and arm-strength became Job #1. Under the tutelage of Todd Monkin, with assistance from other QBs in the room...he did, just that.

    We saw what he was capable of in 2021. This year, is the end-result of an enormous amount of work and commitment to excellence.

    The fact is, that kid is now bigger than the NFL. He's got everything he needs to succeed in whatever he decides to do. I'd like to see him playing for the Falcons...but, that's just me. Lol...he'll never have to buy a meal or a drink in the State of Georgia...for the rest of his life.

    Think of the never-ending Sportscasting, Television & Business opportunities that are going to come his way. He doesn't NEED the NFL. I don't even know if he wants it...but, my guess is...it's his next dragon to slay. Lol...I can't wait to see it.

    Should've won The Heisman. He's a Unicorn. Guess Sportswriters really don't have much imagination...which is why they aren't out writing novels...instead of describing what we can all plainly see. Sometimes they are out-to-lunch on THAT. LOL

    @MikeGriffith , @navydawg

    On a side note...

    I'd be curious to know how Steve Spurrier voted in the Heisman race. Was Stet in his top 3....which QB was left off, etc.? How did he view the QBs nominated 1-4?

    I guess you could say, I value his opinion. Lol...I know...it's almost sacrilegious. God forgive me.
