Ouch. And that Red and Black truck really HURT Sonny!!

I discussed this on a previous post in another article, but it is worth mentioning again...

What's interesting to analyze is looking at how teams like Georgia and Ohio State responded to disappointing performances- the Buckeyes against Michigan- came out fiercely and aggressively against the Dawgs and almost won. Then Georgia regroups after a poor defensive performance against Ohio State (and LSU) and dominates! Having that edge, that chip on your shoulder provides such a level of motivation that it's very difficult for the other team to respond at that same level. I also believe that the 4+ weeks given to teams to prepare for the semis probably makes those games play out quite differently than if they were played with only a week or 10 days to prepare. I also think the further you get into the playoffs, the more the talent differences start to appear between the haves and the have nots - especially when looking at talent depth on your roster as injuries pile up. It will make the 12 team playoff gauntlet really favor those teams that have a more talented bench. You also won't have 4+ weeks to prepare for the start of the playoffs any longer.

I was really surprised by TCU's execution last night. But even with many of their starters coming from the portal, the talent difference between the Frogs and the Dawgs showed up glaringly.

Gotta give Dykes credit, he took the lopsided loss like a man, and didn't whine, and make excuses like some coaches did this season. "If, if, if" seems to be these coaches shared motto..GoDAWGS!

@MikeGriffith Can. You. Just. Give. Bennett. The. Credit. He. Is. Due. For. Once? Would. It. Hurt. So. Bad. To. Do. It?!?!?

Asking for a friend… actually, many, many friends. 🤣

TCU need not be ashamed, they had a great season. They were a very good team. But UGA was just a Far Better team in every facet of the game and it showed. TCU can and probably will build on what they have. But they will Still have a pretty good ways to go to catch up to UGA. It won’t be next year for them. Our Dawgs are already like a gathering storm for next year !! Go Dawgs !!

Saban said TCU had to score in the 40's to have a chance of wining. I think he knew what was about to happen, but I don't know if theyre just not allowed to say exactly what they're really feeling because ESPN's goal is viewership. So, you have to sell it as TCU was going to make it a match.

I'm so proud to be a Georgia Bulldog, proud of what we have accomplished since CKS took over, and where it's going. We (the state of Ga.) has always been in the top four in the nation in college football prospects, therefore we should be in the "hunt" for a national championship every year...we haven't till now. I appreciate Stetson Bennett and what he went through to accomplish what he has. He will never buy another meal in this state. Everybody is talking about the talent disparity between TCU and our Dawgs. That leads me to believe "they" are going to initiate some other **** rule in regards to that. We are all equal..the coach is the difference. You can have all the talent in the world, you still have to teach (coach). It appears there are no secondary coaches that know how to teach that, it can be taught. You need to be an athlete, quick, fast and it helps if you intuitive, but not necessary, that too can be taught to an extent. I believe we have the q/b's we need, as Stetson Bennett has so aptly demonstrated, you need to be an athlete in that you can avoid and can run, not just have a great arm. Go Dawgs. 2023 here we come.

UGA was dominant in all aspects of the game and the depth of the talent for next year will be even deeper. Complacency is the only thing that can stop a threepeat. If Kirby can keep coach Monken and the rest of the staff together I don't think complacency will rear its **** head. Go Dawgs!!!!!!!!!!!
