The beauty of LB is these guys are multi-talented and can play on D and ST's. JWalker can take game reps at ILB and OLB. Every game rep he takes at OLB is a game rep Sorey can take at ILB. Great depth already exists at UGA.
That is part of the problem in getting Brown. UGA had an ILB recruitment bonanza in '23. It is true that these guys will make up the core of the ST's. So regardless of how may D game reps they get they will be playing. Guys like Brown will have to weigh the long term development goal vs immediate PT.
I hope UGA can get Brown. Love to see the in state stars sign with the home state school. Love to see the home state school sign the top instate recruits. Every time UGA signs an out of state recruit the in state recruits sign with a direct competitor like AL, AU, FU or Clemson.
Clemson junior day was held recently. Reportedly hosted KJ Bolden, Devin Brown-Shuler and Mike Mathews.

I love a kid whose life is so full he doesn't have time (nor feels the need) to make recruiting his life. He sure seems to have a good head on his shoulders, which will bode well should he choose UGA.
Frankly if it is Georgia vs Clemson-What areas would Clemson even be rated close to Georgia?
