Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Who's UR Rock?

49ers QB Brock Purdy Rocks 😉 This article isn't found in other sites 🤔
Comments
Wait, DawgNation didn't write a story about a QB that has nothing to do with UGA, does not play for a local team, and is not even from the Southeast?!
It’s not on Babylon bee?
He didn’t name DawgNation?
“The most poised rookie I’ve ever seen”
-Kyle Shanahan.
Have a problem with Brock Purdy’s rock?
Keep politics out of sports
No. He’s welcome to his beliefs.
just not sure what it has to do with dawgnation.
Yes, don't need his lifestyle choices shoved down my throat.
RIP to some really nice rocks...
Should the article be canceled then?
Absolutely, it’s unnatural
You're hitting close to my home territory now! Glad to see them go!
Who defines what is natural?
ooh,ooh (raising my hand). I 'll do it, I'll do it.
Oh, really?
Where were you on the night of July 6th?
The visceral response to this innocuous article is interesting. Perhaps I missed some sort of backstory, but how is a guy being vocal about his religious beliefs offensive? If the article was about a football player that had found harmony through Buddhist meditation, would you be so upset?
To the people that share in his belief, he is an inspiration. If you don't share in it, then it really shouldn't matter to you. It shouldn't be any different then seeing something like this:
The other Aaron Rogers article linked in this one above talks of him questioning his faith. I read it and even though he has renounced the same religion I believe in, I am not offended - Sure, I am disappointed that no one helped him to find some of the answers to the very fair questions he asked, because there are answers to them; but again, I am not offended. ,
Sometimes I think we forget to be gracious enough to ourselves to ask ourselves why we might be offended by things. Myself included.
Wait, DawgNation didn't write a story about a QB that has nothing to do with UGA, does not play for a local team, and is not even from the Southeast?!
But seriously, Aaron Rodgers played for a team that has a similar logo to UGA. Where is the story DawgNation??
I wouldn’t care on this one either because Aaron Rodgers didn’t play for the dawgs either. The Dalai Lama might’ve played for Wally Butts back in the day but would need to confirm.
Either way, I really don’t care about Brock Purdy’s beliefs. I’m sure his faith means a lot to him. I’m not a fan of constantly talking about religion in sports. I’m a show, not tell kind of guy.
I'm out ...I don't see this ending well.
