I'm going to listed to this shortly but assume the bold prediction would have to be Stockton? He is special.
My BOLD prediction...both Carson and Brock start games. I'd like to see them both line up together in the backfield and depending on the call based on the defensive alinement the QB that get the ball will either rpo, run, pass long, pass short, hand off. There is no DC in the world that will be able to plan for that kind of alinement. The OC does not matter, the play book stays the same and is tweaked according to the talents of the QB. Gunner is an indispensable talent as the Scout Team QB but he will see playing time.
REALLY BOLD PREDICTION: IF Chicago drafts SBIV, he will supplant Fields and lead the Bears to a Super Bowl!
I think it is going to be a battle. I have no way of knowing what's on CKS or TM's mind and I haven't seen them practice to conclude a fact based opinion. However, I will play along. I think Carson has the inside track going into Spring but he'll have to be very impressive to hold off the challengers. I think we have a great problem going into Spring but that problem may be costly coming out of Spring. I know Kirby wants to keep it all in limbo until the fall so as to integrate another element of uncertainty between the competitors in hopes of none of them will enter the portal at that late point. Coach Smart has gave props and praise to all 3 of those guys a one time or another. You just never know exactly where Kirby is at on the particulars by gauging what he verbalizes in interviews. Kirby is the professor of reverse Phycology.
