If you’re out of network, MLB package is the only way to go.
But even here in Florida I can’t watch Marlins or Rays series through MLB. Can only hear radio coverage.
Hard to fathom that people can get paid to do that. A sure sign the apocalypse is upon us.
those games are on tape delay, right?
There is a video of him being filmed from a distance, but I can't find it. From last night's game. In the video a man sitting next to him keeps grabbing him and making him sit down. Guess he has a handler now?
No, it’s live
Is baseball not the craziest game? Dropping two to the lowly White Sox at home? Would have never bet that would happen. I'm glad we are getting Fried back soon - the NRPT pitchers we have been using are too inconsistent. Crazy game that it is, we may score 10 next time out.
I know….that’s the first series we have lost since late May and …. Against the White Sox? Reminds me of that A’s series …a similar loser team.
Bring on the off topics if need be, but with the Braves just signing d'Arnaud for `24, I thought I'd take a chance and share a link to a book that Braves/baseball fans might enjoy here where it would be easily found, rather than start another thread.
The title is, “The Tao of the Backup Catcher," by baseball writer Tim Brown. The link below is supposed to be "free" to non-WSJ subs and gives a great overview of the book.
Per the review, one of the opening lines is...
“If you will work your whole young life to become strong and clever, to see the game in ways others don’t or can’t, if you will commit wholly to yourself, the group, the win, and today, and if you then will give it all away, then you will be the backup catcher.”

If there is a better back-up catcher than d'Arnaud, they must be hiding him somewhere. Sounds so weird to hear him referred to as a back-up.
But he is definitely the best "back-up" in the league, hands down!!!
Agree. Maybe he'll be catching Charlie tonight and help us turn this recent trend around. Guess it was a weird night in baseball all around last night. Tons of scoring everywhere.
Yes…apparently there were 12 teams that scored 10 or more runs and four games where both teams scored 10 or more runs!
First time that has happened since 1901!
Too bad we were on the losing end of one of those…..
Strider allows a lead off triple to Marte in the fourth……and then strikes out the side on his way to 13 strikeouts leading to a Braves win to snap a 4 game losing streak….
Poweful!!
Go Braves!
A very good win for the Bravos. The bats came alive when needed most. I am worried a bit about Strider. He continues to amass strikeouts but seems to fade towards the end lately. I'm wondering why. Is he getting tired and "losing" some of his stuff or are hitter catching on to something he's doing? But for 6 innings yesterday, he was gold. Nice to have Austin Riley in a groove again.
That was a crazy game. What a comeback.
I didn't see the game, but noticed that neither team scored until the Braves scored one in the bottom of the sixth. Then, eleven runs combined in the 7th and eighth innings.
Great win. On to Milwaukee.
