    Reposting this from another thread.

Eating my second helping of crow. I predicted 1st round for Ringo, he went in the 4th. I predicted that SB IV would go in the 5th or 6th. The Rams just took him in the 4th. And yes, that is a huge difference. 4th rounders and above basically have guaranteed roster spots the first 2 years so long as they don't do anything to alienate the coaching staff and front office (or unless they absolutely positively cannot play). Guys taken after the 4th have to compete for roster spots against undrafted free agents, minimum salary veterans etc. So the Rams gave up a guaranteed roster spot to get him when there were still a bunch of very talented players on the board. That means that they really do believe that he is going to help them win games.

Best of luck to Stetson Bennett! He's beaten the odds before and maybe he'll get a chance to do it again.

So SBIV can earn the #2 QB spot behind a quarterback that is great when healthy. However Stafford has recently had some ailments and his backup better be ready to take the reigns!!

one of the best spots for him to land.

Congratulations, Stet. And congrats to all the draftees (party in Philadelphia).

I've been tracking the draft really closely this year. ESPN, the Athletic, ... they have all been way off. Of course, this has been a particularly interesting draft class to try to mock/predict. But these media geniuses all talk to each other (and smoke-blowing, misdirecting GMs) in their little bubbles and just start losing track of reality. Will Levis was simply this year's bubble boy. Possible #4 pick overall to Indy? Seriously? This makes Stet is the anti-bubble boy!

Let the next chapter in the saga begin!

Yeah, and now after practice, he can quickly go to the movie studios and help direct his "made for movie" life story. From a nobody walk-on to historic champion. Lol. Amazing how things can work out someone.

But the story is not over yet. Isn't the new story book ending for backup QB SBIV to enter the Super Bowl in the 2nd half after injury to the starting QB and rally his team to a come from behind victory?

Well, well, the mail does get through. I suspicioned he'd get the nod 4th or 5th. Like to know what Matt Stafford thinks? Stets will definitely let them know he has arrived!

Congrats Stet. Perhaps someday there will be an article without reference to the public intoxication thing. Sic'em!
