I'm not convinced Manning is the superior athlete, from what I've seen the caliber of competition was far less. Man playing amongst boys. He may turn out to be the better of the two, but I'll put my money on Dylan as of today. Go Dawgs !!!

His take on QB’s ain’t too good, or at football for that matter. Maybe he should probably try his luck at Cricket.

I agree, @10Dawg. Manning's spring didn't exactly strengthen the case that he's a generational talent.

After he chose Texas, remember how folks were, like, "OMG! Kirby Smart can't recruit quarterbacks?"

On3 says that, this fall, we'll have the sixth best QB room in the country (which may have been our lowest position group, BTW). The upside for our QB room actually is higher than anyone's except USC.

Then, in 2024? If things go according to plan, the Georgia QB room stocked with Stockton, Vandagriff and Raiolo will be pretty clearly the most talented in the country.

And don't forget Puglisi....from what Jeff Sentel has said, that young man's commitment to this program is second to none...!

and he committed to our program KNOWING that there was a good chance that we would also land Raiola.....

Says a lot for the character and competitive nature of that young man as well as the health of our QB room for years to come!!

    Go Dawgs!

We beat the teams with the two best QB's in the nation according to the NFL draft with a former walk-on QB who didn't have any major scholarship offers from any decent team. Let that sink in if it hasn't already. SB is the greaest outlier of all time in college football.

That's what I've been trying to say. Lol..."Hype". All "Hype". Where's the beef?

"There’s no way to know which program got the better player at this junction"_____@MikeGriffith

Yeah there is Mike...use your eyes and knowledge of football and the quarterback position. If UGA had signed Manning, in '23...who is NOT ready, in the slightest, and may never be...he would've come out of Spring ranked as the 3rd or 4th best QB in the room....maybe. Just like he did at Texas, this year.

IMO...Manning's at least 2 years away from starting...while Raiola could probably start day 1....IF....Beck, BVG and Stockton were not already there. Those 3 guys are not going to be as easy to "beat out", as some in the media seem to think.

I bare Manning no ill-will...but, I think the press he's been getting, is ridiculous. Especially considering the crap, that was and is, being spewed about Bennett over the last several years, despite his on-field success. Lol

Can you imagine the "HYPE" Bennett would've gotten, if his last name was "Manning"? Lol...these sportswriters, like Mike Griffith and others, insist on crediting this young Manning kid, with the achievements of his Uncles and Grandfather. And , that's the lens they use when they frame his future. But...just watch him...and make up your own mind.

If you ask me..."Which one"? I'll tell you...Beck, BVG and Stockton. Riaola is miles ahead of Manning, on the football field. That's Manning's fault, as far as I'm concerned. He had wayyy more opportunities than most of his peers.

He, Manning, made the decision to remain at that little private school and play against a lesser level of talent than Bennett played against, in High School. And, that's sayin' something...cause Blackshear, Ga., is barely on the map. I think their biggest rival, is little McIntosh County, with a Senior Class of around 150 students.

The thing is....he hasn't had to pay as big a price for that decision as Bennett did...because he's part of "The Elite Class"...a "legacy". The "Hype" is built in. So, eliminate what you THINK you know and watch his game tape with fresh eyes. What do YOU see?

Raiola....All Day Long....Baby. UGA's 2026 "Starter" and future Heisman/HOF QB. But...he's gonna have to wait his turn. Right now, the Dawgs have 2 or 3 of those.

One thing is for sure...as long as Manning is in a major College Football Program...the media will paint the Manning's backside with their tongue. You never know, when you might have the opportunity for a "sit-down Interview" with one of the Mannings....but, you know darned well, it'll never happen, if you talk down the "Royal Nephew"....Lol.

I agree 100%..without the Manning last name, little Archie would be a mid 4* QB on his best day. Manning=overrated, and way overhyped for his accomplishments as an average High School QB against weak competition. Wouldn't be suprised to see him in the transfer portal in 2 years, when he still isn't named the starting QB at Texas. And Manning will have a years experience at Texas when Raiola enrolls at UGA. I'll still take Raiola all day, every day, over Manning..
