Good points Jeff, the rubber definitely hits the road at Georgia. You are either bought in, or you are not. I like Kirby's attitude here. To me it says - the standard is high at Georgia, either meet it, or hit the road. Yes, that can lose you some players that are used to dictating what they want, but like the military, Kirby gives them a uniform and says, "get in line". Everyone starts on equal footage and the cream rises. Iron sharpening Iron and all that. Built to last. And that's hard to beat!

Absolutely...equality over equity, all day long. Every Player on that team is guaranteed the same opportunity to succeed....but, not the same outcome.

    [(INPUT WORK) = (OUTPUT REWARD)]

Or, put more simply..."Preparation and planning" are the keys to "more playing time" under Kirby Smart...and are directly proportional...for all you math wizards, out there. Lol. It's "The CKS/UGA Bulldog equation for playing time". Everybody knows what it is. Lol

If you want more playing time...you "not only" have to be as good, or better than, the guy in front of you, "athletically"...you have to be as learned in the playbook and game-plan...with a desire to take on a leadership role.

It's like my Command Master Chief once told me. If you want to achieve a higher rank...you have to already be performing at that rank's level. In other words...if you are an E6 and want to be an E7...you need to be doing the work of an E7...BEFORE...you put on the Anchors.

That's the goal, anyway. It's nice to have the depth and talent to achieve it. It took Kirby 5 yrs to build that kind of "Program". How much longer do you think Jim-bob Fisher has? Lol

That's "life" in these United States, in a nutshell...IMO.
