Ladd McConkey played a big role in Geoergia’s 2022 offense. He was the team’s top wide receiver, hauling in 58 passes for 762 yards. When we signed this young man out of Chatsworth of all places, he looked like a boy and seemed like a novelty. He still looks like a boy ;-). But he ain't no novelty: He's a bona fide elite Y or Z receiver.

His quickness, speed and hands have always been good; in all those facets, improved steadily. But what really has impressed me is his growth as a guy who finds a seam and incredibly quickly turns up field to make the play vertical -- with authority.

He's always impressed me. From the first time he was on the field he's looked like a big time receiver. Runs his routes wonderfully well, is elusive, catches the ball every time, figures out how to get up the field, is fast. He has all the skills.

Besides all that, he can and does block like crazy. All of us can remember plays which turned into touchdowns due to his downfield blocking.

DGD by any standard, this Ladd.

    Go, Dawgs!

Ladd is the epitome of a non-selfish player. He doesn't care who scores what TD, just as long as the Dawgs get the "W". Matthew 23:12 - "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." Bingo!

My wife and I are big Ladd McConkey fans !! Love this young man !! To us he’s the epitome of Darn Good Dawg !! Totally agree with all the compliments to him here by my fellow Dawgs fans. And it might have already been said but in addition to all those great things, this guy is pretty dawg gone tough to !!

We’ve all seen a few times where he took some Brutal shots, shook it off, only to come back the next play and absolutely burn the rival !! Yes I’m confident he’s got a place in the NFL waiting for him !! Go Ladd !! Go Dawgs !!
