There's always a quote in these articles that stands out. "He's a beast, he can strike a block,, fall asleep and still hold it." Jordan Hall on Nazir Stackhouse. Love it.

DL will be the deciding reason on whether we make the playoff and have a chance to repeat.

Need our senior players to step up and dominate like Wyatt did. Counting on Big Baby and Jamal Jarrett to do so may be too much to ask this year. Hopefully Christian will also step it up this year.

Rooting for these guys and hope they surprise us by becoming All Americans or All SEC types of players.

Thinking that UGA in 2023 can be like Alabama in 2020, LSU in 2019, Clemson in 2016 and Auburn in 2010, which is basically win by outscoring everybody. It would take a monster year from Brock Bowers but it is possible.

The best thing is Big Baby seems to have bought in to the ideology. He Knows that Kirby being tough on him ( and others) will refine him/them and make him/them better and in the long haul better NFL candidates.

As a Dawgs fan there may or may Not be a specific DL player that we can point to and say Hey that guy is sensational. But if they can get it done by committee as a fan I’ll be happy.

But if one or two Do step up and become sensational and get it done that way I’ll be a happy fan just as well. There are several that Could be. Time will tell the story. Go Dawgs !!

Big Baby and Jamal Jarrett are going to be big pains in the rears for the rest of the SEC. Our easy first half schedule is a great way to break these dudes into the rotation. Hopefully Stack and Logue turn out to be first 3 round types of players this year as well as Christian. It's too bad Big Baby and the Senior DL scared ol Bear away. I think a lot of people are being coy about Big B. My take on this is both him and Stack are going to be absolute wrecking machines this year.

There is no reason NOT to expect improvement all along the DL this fall. Many of these guys have been in the system multiple years building their strength and knowledge of their roles. Ingraham Dawkins looked like he was ready to break out at the '22 spring game. MWilliams looks like the next 1st rd UGA DL. The UGA DL is loaded with experience and potential. With the depth along the DL no single player will have to carry the load.

Add in 2 leading tacklers at ILB and experience and talent all across the defensive backfield. There is no reason NOT to expect the '23 D to be elite. And UGA O may only need to score 21 pts to "outscore everybody".
