    One thing about all of the Georgia coaches is that they are all class acts. From Dooley, to Goff, to Donnan, to Richt, and now to Smart. It is a fraternity of really good men who have a lot of respect for each other and for coaching up young men. A lot has changed over the years but Georgia does it the right way. We have no Urban Meyers or Bobby Petrinos in our legacy which is something to be proud of.

    Go Dawgs!

    What is nice is that most people think Smart is the best coach in the Nation. Yes I know Saban is still coaching but he's 71 and Kirby's 47 so I'd rather have this young buck lead us into battle than the old general. Why because we have YEARS to come and eventually I think Smart will be the legend he's is on the path to being.

    As a former GA HS coach, I can both relate with and appreciate the message. UGA has been blessed with men of character—and character counts.

    @MikeGriffith

    Outstanding interview on Finebaum, Mike. One of the best I've seen on his show. You didn't hold back and you hit all the nail(s) on the head.

    Maybe it'll open up a little more conversation regarding "prerequisites" and "written criteria" for making the 12 team playoff. It would "almost" eliminate favoritism and politics, in team selection. That's all the Players and Fans ask for.....a level playing field and equal consideration...regardless of the size of your Home Field...or, letters on the side of your helmet.

    IMO. 12-Team Playoff...More rules and regulations...in writing. Less debate and posturing. Lol...never thought I'd say those words in a sentence...but, in this particular case, it just makes sense. Particularly, In light of more than a century of on-going debates about who actually "won it" 50, 60 years ago vice who "deserved" it.
