Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Obviously AD Brooks is doing a great job in the “juggling act” that comes with being an AD for a major university. AD Brooks sees and understands the revenue that can be generated and profits made by building top notch facilities that, let’s face the facts here, draw top notch athletes to play for UGA as well as quality coaches. Keep up the great work AD Brooks! Go Dawgs!
Brooks has truly done a great job all the way around since taking over. Improvements in all of these facilities have been long overdue and he is doing a good job of juggling them all.
Brooks has been doing an outstanding job of trying to catchup with his peer programs in the SEC. I hope that if or when they eventually do, they can stay ahead of the game. You now have a lot of schools that are making their campus's destinations for fans like utk's entertainment district on the river that fans will flock to and spend lots of $$$, which in turn is lots of money for the university. Time to think outside the box, you're competing for every dollar you can get. GATA !!!
I think it should be said that much of the current "success" for UGA sports is related to football and the Kirby Smart hire - by Scott McGarity and Jere Morehead. And Kirby accepted the job with a commitment of significant capital expenditures being to be made related to football (which can't be made without Morehead's blessing). Most of that table was set (I think) by McGarity and Morehead. Josh Brooks should be mostly judged by the hires he's made and the programs he's lifted up based on his on decisions and vision - e.g., baseball, basketball, etc. I don't think I would yet ascribe success to Brooks based on the success of football. We'll see how basketball and baseball hires work out. I am hoping GREAT!
Great interview Mike! I think Brooks is doing an outstanding job across the board for UGA! These are some Great Days to be a DAWG!
Grateful for sure . Crappy home schedule this year and 5 home games next year which isn’t much better . No ticket increase is truly a bargain .🙄
