Georgia football podcast: Assessing UGA’s top strength in 2023
Georgia football is the No. 1 topic every day on DawgNation Daily — the daily podcast for fans of the national champion Georgia Bulldogs. Catch up on everything happening with UGA athletics with host Brandon Adams and the DawgNation experts as they break down the latest Georgia football recruiting news and discuss coach Kirby Smart’s quest to keep the Bulldogs on top of the college football world. On episode No. 1,978 (June 29, 2023) of the podcast, Georgia fans can hear a discussion about why Georgia’s offensive line might be the team’s top strength this season, and why that could be a good thing for the Bulldogs’ pursuit of a third straight national championship.

This was a really good podcast. I enjoyed the takes and agree that our inside linebacker group is the strongest but it is close with offensive line coming in next. I think we could field 3 deep at inside linebacker with very little fall off. I don't think we can say that at OL just because of the numbers involved here (5 vs. 2). I do believe that our secondary might actually be the best secondary we have ever had. I liked Ringo but Smart did him a favor last year because he should not have started. We are totally loaded in the secondary and could easily field 2-3 quality teams back there. I expect we will lose 2-3 guys after the year in the portal plus 2-3 in the draft.
Excited for this year. We are totally loaded. I cannot remember us being deeper and more talented in this many areas (OL, TE, WR, ILB, Secondary). Beck and/or Griff, it really doesn't matter. We are going to win it again.
BA, I can't mound a realistic argument to dispute your well reasoned posit. But I too will put forth an idea that expands the original postulate....I say our coaching staff, Kirby and company, and the culture they promote is the foundation responsible for the strength and success of The Georgia Bull Dawgs! Looking solely at our current player position groups is like comparing billionaires....their overall grade is dependent on how they use their wealth given the situation they're in or problem they're focused on solving.
