I’ll say this again. And yes it sounds crazy, but I believe that Tech will surprise us all and have a really good season. No, I didn’t say they would beat UGA— but I’m in the camp that it will be closer than it has the last several years.

There are two things that could derail the season:

    1) Ourselves. Playing cocky, sloppy, overconfident, and losing focus. Gotta stay hungry. Better never rests.

    2) Injuries. The injury bug always seems to get us in August before the season starts. We've been there before and usually it's next man up, but it can be a difference maker.

If we can get through both these things during the season then we'll come out on top.

I think we are back on track. Just finish recruiting (as much as you can) and let's get fall practice started.

Little concerned about the running back situation but it was a good move to pick up Whitehead and keep Clarke. Everything else looks good. Not sure how DL will be. A lot of good talent or young talent that might be great. So running back and DL are big concerns.

If we can solve those 2 issues the qb thing will work itself out.

South Carolina, Auburn, Missouri and GT will all be better than expected. I think UTk will be a little worse. Need to really be ready for Beamer's group. They are a motivated bunch.
