Former USC player and Vikings first round draft pick breaks the Dawgs’ speed record

In ‘these troubling times’, I regret to report that Jordan Addison, a recent USC player who is now a first round draft pick rookie with the Minnesota Vikings, was arrested (oooops, I mean cited) Thursday morning for going140 mph in a 55 mph zone. Addison is 21 years old and drives a Lamborghini. His driving feat breaks all previous speeding records set by Georgia Bulldawgs’ players and staff. Does USC have a culture problem that will keep the team out of the CFP? Inquiring minds want to know.

Your humble correspondent,

Hemingwey

@Hemingwey I prefer Ferraris myself. With my income?, I can only dream of ever actually driving a Ferrari. But anything at all actually going onto a public roadway while driving that fast??? These kids all need to learn that there are special private tracks, that are available to all at a price, and that it is much, much safer for all of us to instead just use them!!!!

PS -If anyone can afford to drive something that can go THAT fast?, they can also afford the price to be paid for the special private track time to do it in a controlled environment too.

It’s clearly Lincoln Riley and USC fault for not teaching lower speeding numbers. Also rookie money is a lot more these days. More money faster cars = speeding tickets. It’s not him at all. He can’t help cars go that fast

If we really cared about this kind of speeding, we would try something more than a speeding ticket. Start with taking the car. In other words act like we care.
