@JeffSentell ...Darn good article Jeff. Very informative and I got a chuckle or two, as well.

This article is worth saving. Just to see where you stand with your (our) analytics...recommend revising this article next Spring, just for fun.

BTW...I think you're gonna be able to add 5-star, WR Jeremiah Smith (#1/#2 WR, Class 2024), before it's all said and done.

I love data, but not everybody does. JS provides plenty of it so the reader gets important facts , but wraps it in perspective and levity to make it even more consumable and interesting. Go Dawgs!

    Jeff,

I still can't get the memory of Mekhi Mews' performance in the spring G Day game. Does he have a shot at wide receiver or perhaps as a running back on reverses? This kid is a talent who I believe will more than make up for any lack of star ratings.

Agreed. 3-stars have gobs of talent, but also a bit of chip on their shoulder, and therefore often an extra gear the higher-touted dudes don't have that can make up for any supposed skill differences. Go Dawgs!

Good take @bogarttad - I'd lump Cash Jones at RB into that same category. He was a 3-star RB a couple of cycles back that turned down some FBS offers to walk-on at UGA.

Been hearing practice standout stories on him for awhile now. That's why it was so cool to see him get that late TD against Vandy last year.

I agree. I saw him today, at the end of that SECN Special hour long Dawg'athon on the 2022 Season. He is an absolute beast. I thought he was a lineman....if it's the same "C JONES", which was on the back of his jersey. Is there a C. Jones on defense?

That's good to hear because we need depth. Not sure I would give him the 'beast' title just yet. I will reserve that after some more live game action. Good to hear though because we are hurting in the RB area. Hopefully Milton will surprise us this year by staying healthy.

Take a look at him on "Year of the Dawg"...at the end of the Championship game, when they're walking in the tunnel and joking around. He's standing with Carter and I can't remember the other 2 guys, offhand. But, he doesn't "appear" to give up much size to any of em in comparison. He's cut, too. Was he in the G-Day game? Or, was he one of the injury holdouts?
