The more I read about this guy the more I appreciate what he brings - on and off the field. The maturity he continues to show about the OSU hit, clean hit, I must add, is impressive even while the adults on the other side continue to show their lack of maturity. The hit was genuine and hard and while it was hard, maybe Harrison just can’t take a hit. Go DAWGs.

Harrison is elite. He, the B1G officials, nor the Buckeye fans have any frame of reference of what happens when elite meets elite while watching defense optional Big 10 football. Those hits happen regularly in the SEC and most times they are called exactly the same as that semi game. There’s a host of elite DBs that have been coached under Kirby that could have and would have made that play. It was just Javon’s turn. Love his attitude about the whole situation!

The 76 yard TD pass to Arian was also pretty impactful… as was the two point conversion to a hobbled McConkey… and the almost immaculate ensuing TD drive… after an overall lackluster 3rd quarter, the whole team really seemed to come alive. The win over tOSU was a team effort and the Dawgs’ team character was on full display. GO DAWGS!!! GO43N2023!!!

I just re-watched the 2008 Sugar Bowl when the Dawgs broke Hawaii. During the game the Fox announcers adverted the championship game between tosu and lsu, which tosu lost. The commented on how tosu wasn't respected, especially after getting pounded by flurduh in the previous champ game. They do have a pretty long history of being dissed. I guess the difference between UGa and tsou is that, to my memory, I can't recall Dawg coaches or players continually complaining about ow unfair the world is.
