He broke into a liquor store and stole $1600 worth of items, including vapes.
I guess that I have to add "Allegedly".
Man. Can't seem to get the help he needs.
Looks as though Arik has had his third strike. Sad tale.
At this point we need to call it like it is...he needs to ACCEPT the help he needs. He is 21 and has had access to better mental health resources than the vast majority of this forum for a couple years.
You are EXACTLY correct. I did not express myself better there.
Words have no value here any longer. Sad story just will not turn positive.
Sad situation. Almost a cry for help. Never know what will make someone change, but perhaps this will be rock bottom for him.
Oh geez! Another very sad tale of a real rare opportunity that now appears may be simply missed. All of the size, speed, and strength in the world from this young man blessings (from an Almighty) apparently will now be potentially missed out on, at least in the immediate future. Going forward, I could be very wrong, but it would appear (IMO) that this just might be the one final thing that puts Arik Gilbert now onto a completely different path in his life, other than that the world of participating in, and/or playing the American style of football (be it at any college?, or perhaps later there was/is? a shot for him at the pros?), Arik Gilbert hopefully can now hopefully turn his life around, and get to where he can not only function in society as a contributor, but instead actually come fully back after this one.... AND thrive! I will (and I really am) sincerely praying for this young man, and his getting his affairs in order. My most sincere prayers.

This young man is so talented. Look at his LSU highlights and realize he was HS aged when he made those plays. Sad indeed.
Check out his tape:
Oh boy. He didn’t have that planned to well. No sense of urgency
I think he makes a much better tight end than a criminal. Criminal mastermind he isn't.
