He's going to be a terror this year. I also really like Kristen Miller and JJ. I think we might get Tyrion back this week so let's see how he does.

Love how the less-hyped (though perfectly capable) 3-stars Walthour and Logue are being looked to not only for their physical impact on the gridiron, but their locker room leadership and standard setting. That's the Georgia culture. Go Dawgs!

We have several that need to make steady progress this year, and I believe they will......mighty big shoes to fill next year....I can't get the image of Big Baby sacking the QB in some All Star game last year, then pulling dollars out of his sock....I'm sure Jordan has matured from the "George Pickens" antic since then......just need him to stick to the "Jalen Carter" show of affection and avoid a 15 yard penalty!

I like those guys and Walthour is good at run defense. Logue is a steady eddy guy. Great leadership just not a line of scrimmage pusher. He's not big enough or wide enough to control the point against better teams imo. Now Jamaal Jarrett is that guy and I saw him absolutely stone their center and move the entire middle of the oline back. Like putting a dent in a can...

We need Jamaal Jarrett to get in shape and become a factor for us. This is the same recipe as we had with Jordan Davis. Jamaal also has that 'mean streak'.

Now the other guy who stood out to me besides Hall and JJ was Kristen. He is a force when he wants to be. We just need to figure out what upsets him and then poke him before every game...

Following the first game, the kid I think has grown the most since G-Day is Big Jah. Jah really, really struggled with technique at G-Day, so much so Kirby walked over from the middle of the field to give him hands on technique instructions on where to place his hands. He only got 8 or 9 snaps, but Big Jah was firing off low and getting push. He and Jordan Hall are going to be a great combination in the future.

JJ flashed on this last game. He has the ability to crash the middle of an offensive line which few, very few can do. Now can he get in good enough shape to do that on a more consistent basis. When teamed up with Kristen Miller and/or Hall we have a dynamic 3 there that by mid season might be ready to cause some serious headaches. I will be keeping my eye on 55, 52, and 44 to see if they are developing.

Nothing against Stack and the other senior guys but there is some explosive disruptive power missing. When I watch Logue and sometimes Walthour it looks like a lot of hand fighting at the line but the line is not moving back. With JJ and Hall the line moves back. Kristen too. He is maturing and just needs to be more consistent. The future is bright. Tray needs to earn the rest of that big raise he got.

Note: I forgot to mention Tyrion. Not sure how much progress he has made this last year but we will get a glimpse this weekend.
