Georgia football is the No. 1 topic every day on DawgNation Daily — the daily podcast for fans of the national champion Georgia Bulldogs. Catch up on everything happening with UGA athletics with host Brandon Adams and the DawgNation experts as they break down the latest Georgia football recruiting news and discuss coach Kirby Smart’s quest to keep the Bulldogs on top of the college football world. On episode No. 2,029 (Sept. 11, 2023) of the podcast, Georgia fans can hear a discussion about why ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, whose preseason take about UGA was frankly already pretty bad, now looks even worse after Saturday night’s loss by Alabama to Texas.

Brandon Adams and his homer instincts needs to look realistically at the bigger picture. The Dawgs are question marks at this point. Nothing more, nothing less. Running game is shaky, Beck brings little to no swagger or juice and injuries across the board are going to hurt at some point. The game against SC might offer some clarity, but maybe not. Herbstreit get's paid to stir controversy - nothing new there or really untrue. Dawgs have better depth than most but we'll see. Wouldn't take it personally Brandon. SC and Auburn will tell us more in the coming weeks.

I agree with Brandon. I never bought the Bama's back press.

Some in the media told us, Bama will have the best O-line that Saban has ever had. Same for the secondary. They were going to be dominant on defense; murder-ball would rule, nobody was going to stop Saban from imposing his will.

Secondary, O-line, and Receiver were clear weaknesses of the 2022 Bama team, but Saban just went out and hired two new coordinators, and in one off-season it would all be fixed...

Too late, for him. He's a bought and paid for, "mouthpiece" for Corporate America, now. Just like the rest of em...working for Media Companies owned by foreign and domestic Oligarchs through Shell Companies and hidden assets. All...seeking to get our money and twist our minds. Lol

Not me! I don't base my opinion on those ole Corporate Sports "gumflappers". Like politicians...somebody is paying for that very public opinion to be generated "narrative".

Publicity is gold for any Football Brand or Program. Meaning...[OSU, Bama, USC, ND, Michigan, Clemson and Colorado] are getting a lot of undue "press" for something they haven't done in years...win a Natty. In Colorado's case..."winning season". All, while UGA...wearing 2 freshly minted Championship Rings....is all, but ignored.

They're so used to getting away with their BS...that, they think we're still listening. Lol...nobody with a brain, trusts those clowns, anymore. They remind me of that character on SNL, played by John Luvitz...."The Liar". "Yeah...that's the ticket.". Lmao

Picked Texas by double digits and won some money. I have never had respect for ESPN analysts and when they fired Pollack I was done with ESPN's stupidity.

To us kiddo's she'd say "you got to take a sip" to tell if the Retsina is good or just pine tar.....A good wine takes time, So Thank You Kirby, Bobo and Company for a slow but steady progression! Each week we see a little more improvement, a little more reality in the minds of our Dawgs that working as a TEAM takes understanding of each other and personal commitment to individual improvement. Most "FANS" expect us to go out and consume our opponents like Jabba The Hutt inhaling a Twinkie......Nick Saban proved Saturday that an O-Line of Jabba's couldn't cut it......and when the cupcakes stop coming and we face competition with size, skill and depth, we had better match up with the same plus TEAM play and GREAT coaching......Sark & Company took Nick & Company to the seasons first Coach Clinic on nation wide streaming TV......just hope "The Suits" were watching and taking notes!
