I like CJ Allen a lot but he is not Nakobe Dean or for that matter JDJ.....yet.

The ultimate compliment is Roquan. CJ has a long ways to go before that if ever. Roquan just didn't miss tackles....ever.

CJ has looked very good considering he is a freshman but a lot to learn and prove on the field before any comparisons to the 3 guys above.

CJ is going to be CJ and no one else. He has the speed that is what is needed. Many are saying Pop does have the know-how but not the speed. Trade-off for now. I believe CJ will ball out against TN. He is that good even as a freshman. TN will test him for sure.

I guess the refs missed that hit.

He passed one test, now he has another, as do his compatriots. I hope they don't miss this trap game.

Whomever CJ Allen plays like, he's another gem of an ILB at LBU.

Our defense finally seems to be clicking on all cylinders at just the right time.

I know the article is primarily about and focused on CJ Allen. He’s very good and will in the long haul become Great.

But looking at the comments from his fellow players on Defense, headed to Knoxville. These Dawgs are Hungry !! I don’t think we’ll have to worry about Effort or them over looking the Vols to the future. These guys Know how tough Neyland is.

On top of that I think their gonna be going in Mad and Motivated. Why Mad ?? Because Kirby publicly called the whole Team out about his dissatisfaction with Tuesdays practice. I’m confident that Kirby and staff got on them Hard Wednesday. And perhaps today as well.

Kirby I believe had a two fold reason for doing that, one because he Really was disappointed in the lack of energy and focus for that practice, and two to Pee them off going into Knoxville !! ALL these Dawgs Know what’s at stake so they will give maximum effort vs the orange people. And that should equate to a solid win. As for CJ I’m Believing he will come through for his Brother Dawgs !! Go Dawgs !!
