How does anyone with eyeballs leave Lassiter off an all-ANYTHING team? All-SEC? Check. All-American? Yep. All-world? Go for it. All hearty-eyed cats that I can’t seem to delete from this post? That, too, apparently…

This is why I don’t put any stock at all in so called sports writers because they are as blind and s t u p I d as the refs.

Did any UGA CB have an INT this season? CB's that INT usually rate high. Tykee Smith had a very good year. Too bad he was not recognized.

I absolutely get the metrics used for CB and safety, which seems to be interceptions, but you have to look at the productivity of receivers when shadowed by the CBs. It is only 1 element of the value and depending on the opponents, against what type of competition did those interceptions come against. Lassiter is clearly one of the best in the conference and is very effective against the run as well. His position in the draft will absolutely illustrate his value and will be well above some of those listed in the awards.

As i've been saying since last year's Tenn game, Lassiter never gets noticed because his coverage receiver never gets targeted. Kinda hard to get int's when the ball never comes his way. Isn't he still a true sophomore and not draft eligible?
