I am not going to judge because I don't know the full story... but this rubs me the wrong way as a gut reaction. The guy was literally unranked and a walk-on and we gave him a whole ton of playing time and he just leaves? Why? Not to be mean, but I doubt many Top 5 schools are dying to get him a receiver with him at 5' 8". He had a meaningful role on a 2-time (and nearly 3-time) National Championship level team. What else did you want???

Hate it but I understand. WIll be hard to crack the starting lineup. He made a name for himself and can use that to his benefit for playing time and maybe some money in the bank and likely a scholarship.

Does not leave a sour taste in my mouth at all. A win-win situation because again, not likely to play much WR and that scholarship will be needed for more pressing positions or a starting WR. Best of luck Mews!
