ATHENS — Buck Belue has seen a lot of Georgia quarterbacks come and go over the years, and he’s of the mindset that Carson Beck needs to stick around another year.

I agree with the BuckMaster !! Beck does need to come back. So does Marcus RosemyJackSaint. NFL doesn’t have enough film on him either. Probably wouldn’t be bad for Daijun to come back either.

But of the three his situation is sort of a 50/50 proposition. If Daijun could come back and Really have a Huge year though it’d be more beneficial to him. But there’s always that chance of injury or one of the new guys upstaging him.

Marcus had some good catches this year, but not nearly enough for an NFL team to want to rank him higher than what his real potential is. By real potential I mean he’d be a veteran guy out there and probably get targeted more giving him more opportunities to show his stuff. Just my humble opinions.

"Sources close to Beck have said the Georgia quarterback is looking to make more than $4 million in NIL / collective funds if he returns for another season." .......

If that's the case....Hit the road jack!

Millions to be made with NIL. Millions to be made in NFL. tough decision. Wish him the best either way

If I were Kirby and he already has confirmation that Beck is coming back, I would release that information the day before DR says he's committed to Nebraska just to make DR's decision to look as sour grapes as possible.

What CB decides to do will speak volumes to his belief in himself and the Georgia Bulldogs. If he returns he beleves he can improve from the number 7 QB in the draft to perhaps a top 3 next year. Some of his decision no doubt would be who would possibly draft him at that number 7 QB position. Would he play for a contender who just needs a up and coming back -up or does he go in 2025 to a really bad team? THere's a lot to consider. BUt generational wealth and security you would think would have to be right there at the top.

THe only thing he can control is himself and what he believes about himself. Maybe he's OK coming out and taking whatever the pay is for his draft position. But if you can stay in school and bank a few million, take out a huge insurance policy in case you get hurt, and show them more of yourself and what you have to offer, perhaps becoming a Heisman finalist, then that pay day will be huge. Does he bet on himself?

Of course he could flounder next year and his draft stock takes a hit, but I seriously doubt that.

Well, hopefully Smart knows exactly whether he's staying or not. Beck needs to be extremely careful as Smart can have a couple QBs on the team in zero time flat.

I'm all about the money... but come on man, $4 million? I can understand if he needs an insurance policy of some sort in case he gets seriously injured, but he will only get more money by staying.

The back story on all of this is what we need to know and do not. I recall Jake Fromm held out for an extended time. There is no way of knowing what Beck is thinking he will do until he does it. I would like to see him return now that Vandagriff bolted to KY. Brock V. waited long enough.....too much drama for him. UGA needs Beck for the Orange Bowl. Also, $4 million is a sweet chunk of change to keep your UGA locker.
