Thanks Mike for continuing to give us good info on the basketball team, especially with little football to talk about. Maybe us Dawg football fans will come around to the competitive team Mike White is developing.

In my opinion after watching the first 3 games, I believed Melendez is the most talented and best offensive player on the team...by far!! With that said, why take him out of the starting line up in December? Yeah, he struggled with his perimeter shooting early on but he's the best offensive player. Sunuhara should be coming off the bench. Tchewa is the least physical 7-foot 275-pound post player I have ever seen. With a little more physicality, he could be a 15 and 12 guy because of his free throw percentage and ability to rebound, but he avoids contact too much. We have to win games on our home court against the better teams and not let them slip away like the Tennessee game. If we can split with Bama , Auburn, Arkansas, and take both games from everyone else, then we can get into the tournament because of the strength of the SEC. Otherwise, we probably won't.
