Brock is waaaaayyyyyy better than the Falcons running back. Whichever team gets Brock will have struck gold!

Who would expect the falcons to make a good draft decision?

The Falcons would have passed on Jim Brown.

Only if he went to UGA.

"Is likely to be one of the best testers". I disagree. The combine seems to focus on quickness, strength and speed. Tests like vertical jump and broad jump are not likely to put BB as one of the best testers. Quickness and change of direction drills like the short shuttle and the 3 cone drill do not play into BB's strength of speed and acceleration. Change of direction drills will also stress (unnecessarily?) his surgically repaired ankle. Is BB even healed enough to run those drills? Should he? Even the 40 yard dash doesn't play to BB strength. The 40 is a short run. BB's acceleration is very good but he builds up speed as he runs. The 40 does not showcase that.

That leaves the 225 lb bench press (?) and the intelligence/cognitive thinking tests. I have read that the top agents are telling their clients to refuse to take the intelligence/psychological/cognitive tests this year..

Brock Bowers has been the best college football player for the last 3 years. If you don't think so, you haven't been watching college football.

The Atlanta Falcons draft and evaluation process is run by fools. Only the Falcons would draft Pitts and turn him into a blocker and draft Robinson to sit on the bench. They have the national champions in their backyard and still don't draft UGA players. Heck, they don't even draft SEC players.

You’re on the money RedPants! To heck with the “testing.” Just watch BB playing the game. I have said many times on this site that BB is the best football player in the country. Of course, I was referring to college players. II really don’t care how high or far he can jump. It ain’t a track an$ field competition. The man can play football. That’s the only test that really matters.

Comparing a TE to A RB in value is just **** and idiotic and I am willing to bet money that most talent scouts would say the same thing. Brock Bowers is a rare talent at TE in that he plays like a WR, but blocks like an OL. You can't buy skillsets like that. Period.
