Pretty sure Kirby and his staff think differently. I'd like to give the kid, and Kirby, the benefit of the doubt. Go Dawgs!

He had his chance at Arizona State and was a bust. Played only 3 games. He still had injuries from his highschool playing days and sat out the rest of the season. He was to be the “wunderkind” that would bring back ASU football to prominence. It never happened and he was never a fan favorite for good reason. Never a team player or leader.

Love the headline: “Georgia Lands Quarterback Jaden Rashada From the Transfer Portal.” No one is “landed” until he’s in the boat. Did we land the QB from UNLV in the transfer portal? Will we ever learn that “commitment” does not mean actually being “committed” these days?
While I, of course, hope this is a good idea only time will tell us whether it is or not. One thing is sure: until he actually shows up for school and football practice at UGA we have no way of knowing if we have actually “landed” him.

Apparently at least two folks believe we have landed Jaden. Maybe we have then.

There will be 2 MAIN keys to winning the QB battle to start in '25. 1) command of the offense. Knowing the O, knowing the keys/reads and making the right decisions. 2) throwing with accuracy and not forcing the ball into turnovers.

When it comes to the QB position it becomes very clear very fast who is putting the ball on guys and who is not as accurate. It doesn't take a ton of practice reps to see if you have great, good or average accuracy.

Command (and leadership) of the O is also easy to differentiate when comparisons are made side by side. The competition to start will be wide open in '25.
