    But made it through this time. I wouldn’t want to be the coach following Saban! Will be interesting to see how Bama fans react to the new guy.

    The next 2-3 years will be critical for AL football. There is still as much talent there as there is at any program in the country. But we have already seen a talent drain with replacements a notch below traditional AL quality players. A deep AL run in the playoffs will aid recruiting in an attempt to keep the blue chip ratio comparable to Saban's. Should AL take an early exit out of the playoff picture over the next couple of years recruiting to an elite level will become more difficult.

    There are many better jobs to coach and places to play than Tuscaloosa. Saban made it the #1 destination for recruits. Unless AL continues to (somehow) win BIG it risks becoming just another program like FU, USC, ND, PSU, OK, Cle, Mia etc.

    Well I expected more but I just read the first sentence of the headline . Show ? What show lol. Guess I perused but not perused the headline .
