ESPN has 2 major questions Georgia must answer if it’s to win a national championship
Georgia enters the 2024 season as one of the top teams in the country. The Bulldogs were overwhelmingly picked to win the SEC at last week’s SEC media days.

I’m sick about Hall, who I was hoping would break out this season and be a game wrecker. But a leg injury on a 300 pounder could last all season. Last season’s injury bug is still alive and well…
It's too bad, for sure, but it's not a season ending injury, so there is room for optimism.
I hope you’re right! I’m hoping for a season with an unusually low number of injuries this year. We’ve certainly had our share of seasons with multiple injuries to key players. Im convinced that will be the difference maker this year when you consider the level of difficulty with this schedule.
GO DAWGS!
My 2 concerns are 1) D Line - Hall will be limited at the start and maybe longer. Ingram-Dawkins missed Spring and will be on a pitch count starting off. More concerning you don’t hear any fire coming out of the other names. If teams can run on us it opens up the passing against us and options to run clock and slows down any defensive blitz packages we may have. Concerning.
2) Defensive backs/Safety. Losing 3 starters is a concern. Some great candidates to step in but how do they handle the pressure? How do we communicate assignments in tough road environments? As we saw v Alabama last year - all it takes is one blown assignment and a good team will make you pay.
Im not worried about receivers and like CKS certainly not worried about something that can’t be controlled like a schedule.
I think we are in a much better place this year than last already. Sure we will lose players that is part of the game. I think we have 3 freshman DL who can actually do more than just play some snaps. Nas Johnson is not being talked about enough imo. Also Jordan Thomas. We all know at 5 tech we have Joseph Jonah Ajonye. Johnson and Thomas though can give us quality snaps. JJ is going to help a lot this year and the surprise will be McLeod who has some fire in him. We will be more than fine.
