If recruiting is any indication, then Bama will not be skipping a beat with DeBoer at the helm. Currently, they are ranked #1 for 2025 team recruiting on the On3 site, and they are #2 on the 247 site.

I think DeBoer is a very good coach. He's brought in some key transfers and honestly think they should cruise to the playoffs with little problem. Other than games against us and maybe LSU, their schedule this season is very manageable. They could easily go undefeated during the regular season IF they manage to beat the Dawgs.

I realize it’s a slow time but could we just go one day without an article about a retired SEC coach or his former team ?

DeBoer is a good coach, but following a legend, let alone college football’s GOAT, is still difficult. Still, loathe though I am to admit it, DeBoer does have one huge thing going for him as he starts off- he will almost certainly have the most talented football team for a first year coach in the history of college football. Not gonna lie, I was hoping for maybe a little drop-off in the Pachyderm’s program after Saban left, so their hot start in recruiting is a little disappointing. All the more reason for the Dawgs to man up and beat them this season in Tusky.
