The difference between the 2 is obvious. One of them is signing elite classes with proof and results on the field, and one is signing elite classes without that. Of course BIG money overall is an Oregon thing and Lanning knows it.

    CKS's first 2 year's (before he won a National Championship as HC) record was 21-7. CKS's first 3 recruiting class rank's were 9, 3, 1 (Rivals) as a 1st time HC..

    CDL's first 2 year's record is 22-5. CDL's first 3 recruiting class rank's were 23, 9, 6 as a 1st time HC.

Based on those results I would expect the recruiting classes to be close. Especially now with the importance of NIL in recruiting and the Nike backing of the program. NIL is king.

Now that the Ducks have joined the Big 10, they are my favorite to dominate the three uglies…..Michigan, TOS, and USC…as DL builds Oregon's program with the best NIL support in college football, he will continue to instill the "Dawg" type culture and will be successful…….the future promises many meeting between The Dawgs and The Ducks!
