Well, will he respond if you say, "Go Rams"? Is he discriminating against all mascots, or man's best friend, or just his Alma mater?…..or all three?
It's not a UGA or Rams thing. It's just not in his personality to be loud. He leaves that up to his wife. The only time I have seen him being boisterous was when he was 3 sheets during the Rams Super Bowl winning parade. Dawgs shouldn't take it personally.
You can say, "Go Dawgs" without being loud or boisterous. ….and I don't take it personally, I think it's funny.
I personally hate the whole barking thing and if someone came up to me barking, I'd probably just ignore them as well.
Who cares about him?
He didn’t do a single thing for Dawgs Football. Huge underachiever!
Both he & his wife should practice thinking before they speak
Love Matt Stafford. This story is a little weird. You would think there is more to write about with practice underway. Story is a nothing burger.
I am amazed how many outlets are running this story.
UGA to Stafford was minor league football. Coming to UGA wasn't about winning championships or embracing the passion of the fan base, it was a business decision. That was evident in his press conference when he announced he was leaving early. Considering supporters of the program paid for his 3 years of minor league football you would hope he would realize that people just want to acknowledge they enjoyed watching him play. And "Go Dawgs" means just that. It takes the same amount of energy and effort to say "Go Dawgs or Sic'em" back as it does to say "yeah". The question is how do you want the other person to remember you.
this is correct…from what I remember is Stafford only came here because he could compete to play as a freshman. That wasn’t always a given in the mid-00s. It was also said in 07 guys like Stafford and Moreno didn’t get the grandeur of the cocktail party bc they weren’t from the region.
Some of these guys just view their alma mater as a stepping stone. And that’s fine. Live and let live.
Stafford has always been a little strange!
