An ‘improved’ Damon Wilson should really help the Georgia defense
Damon Wilson seems primed to have a big sophomore season for the Georgia football program.

"Bulk up" from 230 lb to 240 lb? Okay. Isn't that called a good Saturday night at Golden Corral for most of us? I guess we can file away the term "freshman fifteen".
UGA needs DWilson to take it up a couple of notches this year and live up to that 5* rating. With what a 5* costs in NIL UGA cannot afford to sign 5* players like it was 2018. Cannot miss on 5* players like Brenton Cox in the NIL era.
With his build and nose for the ball wouldn't Chambliss be a natural run stuffer in the middle of the D at ILB? After 40 games at OLB Chambliss has 2.5 sacks. In 40 games Chambliss has 25 solo tackles. Putting him in the middle of the D would seem to make more sense.
On a sad note, MO OLB Darris Smith tore up his knee in practice this week and is out for the year. DSmith was a player that I followed while at UGA and was looking forward to watching him break out at MO this season. With present day medical techniques and advancement Smith is expected to make a full recovery.
