God… Family… Work… That's the way it should be. I wish Coach Luke well… except when he plays us… ;-)

Matt Luke did a great job for us. He'll do a great job up the road, too. Knows how to coach OL.

Getting 1.125 M per year to coach OL had nothing to do with it. When someone quits a job to spend time with family then makes a lateral move in employment, I scratch my head.

It's simple Bulldawg…..IMHO, Luke is a very good coach, he did a great job at UGA but any coach working for KPS and especially Coordinators, there comes a mountain of pressure to recruit, develop, support and be available 24/7/365. In short, the expectation is….commit your total self to the players, program, and plan just like the HC. Luke stepped away but missed "coaching". Obviously his family loved Athens, didn't want to move so the Clemson gig fit perfectly……I hope it works out for him but I've always subscribed to the Biblical admonition, "you can't serve two masters"……at best family and job will get less than 100%.

With all that said……The DAWGS are the winners as Stacy Searles is a better coach and he is 100%.

Can't blame the Luke family for wanting to stay in the Athens area. I can't imagine having to live in that rat hole of Clemson, South Carolina either!!!
