Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

SEC football coaches understand but cautious of NIL game day presence, helmet QR code concept
ATHENS — A college football version of “Go Fund Me” could be coming to a stadium near you, if Oklahoma State’s latest NIL initiative catches on.

Oh brother, what a lame idea.
I watched @MikeGriffith talk about this last night on Finebaum. But what stuck with me was the way he introduced Mike in the segue to this topic:
“I know there’s a lot of food at the breakfast bar that you could choose from, and you would probably choose a lot of it.”
Ouch. That was mean. But you've got to admit it was funny. You need to come up with some nasty comebacks!
"If they're serving something with hair on it, I'll send it to you for a hat."
OK. Maybe, not. :-)
Great conversation, though. You're the Happy Warrior.
"Coach Mike Gundy’s Cowboys will wear QR codes on their helmets enabling fans to link up and donate to a general team fund that goes toward the players’ NIL deals."…….What a GREAT idea……BUT, it only works if I can also deduct money when QB Bowman throws an INT, RB Ollie Gordon fumbles, when the Cowpokes lose or Coach Gundy calls a boneheaded play…..talk about your instant motivation…….plus that QR Code looks a lot better that their drunk cowpoke mascot.
