ATLANTA — Kirby Smart did not have the tone of someone whose team just steamrolled the No. 14 team in the country.

Kirby is all business. Gotta keep the guys focused. One game at a time. Keep out any negativity and distractions.

Concerning the portal and rosters, it will be interesting to see how teams manage a smaller roster going forward (soon to probably be 105 players vs. 120+ players many teams currently have), especially as it relates to depth and a potentially longer season with the playoffs.

I realize a DUI or domestic abuse is a serious crime deserving serious consequences… which Kirby seems to be managing pretty darned well. But the random yet consistent infractions of broken tail light, overly dark tinted windows, expired drivers license, etc. is a bit over zealous and not a culture problem. Careless and unnecessary, but more deserving of a warning (and maybe a call to Coach) and shouldn't even reach headline news in IMHO. Go Dawgs!

In the Dawg walk no one smiled or waved to the fans. It was all business!!

I respectfully disagree. NIL is the cause of all of this. If the money for NIL had been put in a trust account for the players with about 10% given ti them, these players wouldn’t have the means to purchase these fast cars. Blame NIL and how the sorry NCAA handled it. Kirby can’t control how these kids were raised before they came to Georgia.

Maybe he’s talking about Lincoln Riley? Didn’t Isaiah Gibson say USC was doing negative recruiting on us?

Speaking of Riley, that’s one down one to go for this weekend

Sorry NIL isn’t the reason for comportment issues.

At some point, it’s time to act like you’ve got some sense.

    It’s not complicated folks.

Unfortunately we’ve had some guys that aren’t the sharpest knife in the drawer,

On a different note, in the video above where our defense blew up the third-and-1 attempt, between Walker and the offensive lineman who was tackling him from behind, it was a clinic on how to wrap up.

I don't think NIL is the problem here, but it's possible it could be the answer. Let's say your NIL deal provides you with 10 to 25% up front but there's a clause here that if your found guilty of a serious crime, then sorry you forfeit the remainder.
