@GtheGreek…From my understanding a Grade 2 tear healing time is 4-6 weeks assuming you don't try and come back too early and make things worse. I hope you are right about being able to play against Bama, but my bets are in time for Texas. Expect to see much more of Walker and Wilson in the meantime.

3-6 weeks according to Google. Don’t play him till bama

Kirby is usually conservative in his descriptions of injuries. Thus if it’s a true G2, the Texas game will be a stretch as he will also need some time to get into game conditioning. All we can ask is the next man up do his best. GO DAWGS!

For whatever reason or reasons, with the exception of Brock Bowers — who history will show probably wasn't 100 percent human — UGA players NEVER, EVER heal from injuries in the minimum time periods. So if the healing time period for a Grade 2 sprain is 3-6 weeks, look for Williams to miss two months. I would love to be wrong but that's the way it always is with Georgia players. And they'll say they're taking extra precautions and leaving it up to Ron Courson. Whatever, I just don't expect to see him on the field until maybe the Texas game, but wouldn't be surprised if he's not back until the Florida game.
And with Williams out, is there ANY doubt that Jalon Walker plays A LOT more? That should just go without saying. Go Dawgs!

I would rather rest Mykel rest against Tenn Tech and be ready for the real games.

We lose Mykel for 6 weeks due to a cheap shot from Clemson. There needs to be severe repercussions for this kind of play.

I'm more than confident that Kirby knows how to navigate and manage the injuries for every game. He's the best at preparation. But Clemson was holding, and trying everything they could to stay in the game. I know the injuries they caused wasn't intentional but they were lower division type desperation plays in my opinion. Go Dawgs!!

Chop blocks like that should carry the same penalty as targeting.
